TELL THE WORLD THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL
| Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt
you. |
|
(Luke 10:19) |
The Lord Jesus Christ told us to declare the
good news, which is the Gospel. The word "gospel" means good news!
The price was paid once and for all eternity for all who will believe on the
Lord Jesus Christ. Many Christians think to be spiritual means to walk
around with a serious and a sad face. They look like they are a martyr or
a victim of a hard tragic life. Who would want a God that produces a image
like that? The Lord Jesus Christ said to go and tell all the world about
the good news which He called the Gospel. In Mark 16:15 Jesus said, "Go
into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
The Lord Jesus Christ has given you all of His authority and power in His name
to proclaim the good news with the demonstration of His power and love with
signs following. The good news is, you cannot earn or do anything to earn
this promise! All you have to do is receive the Lord Jesus Christ in your
heart through His gift of grace. His grace works only through those who
live through Him. All He wants you to do is love, praise, and fellowship
with Him always. When the world sees you with His joy and blessings, they
will want to know Him!
| And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly
places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the
exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. |
|
(Ephesians 2:6-9) |
| Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I
do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go
to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that
the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I
will do it. |
