Who Do You Trust, the Lord Jesus Christ or the World?

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith.

1 John 5:4

When Jesus appeared to me years ago, he told me something that changed my life.  Jesus said "people have more faith in their faith than in me" (Jesus).  I told Him I did not understand that.  He said when you are moved by how you feel or by condemnation or self exaltation than your faith is in yourself and not in God.  How many times have you heard some one say I don’t feel the anointing or I cant do it.  Many times they will say it is impossible for them to have the victory or healing.  The key to victory is to realize that your strength is in Jesus Christ and not in yourself.  He told me that is why pride comes before a fall.  We trust so much in our greatness instead of relying on our Lord Jesus Christ.  When you trust Jesus to take care of the circumstances or road blocks in your life, then you are releasing His power for the victory.  The only way to release His power is through you trusting Him.   The greatest most powerful Faith in all existence is your simple child like trust in the Lord Jesus Christ (Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us) Romans 8:37

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."  Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57
