TELL THEM THE GOOD NEWS
| For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God
to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the
Greek. |
|
(Romans 1:16) |
The gospel means GOOD NEWS! So many people
think of being a Christian as being very hard and difficult with much suffering. They think God is angry and breathing fire and vengeance down on His people. Many think you have to live a boring life and suffer to make God happy. The
truth is the Gospel is the good news that the Lord Jesus Christ has set you free! John
8:36 states, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." The Lord
Jesus Christ has paid the price with His precious blood and redeemed us from the
curse of the law sickness, poverty and spiritual death. He redeemed us from the
devils power and gave every born again believer power and authority over the
devil and his bunch! Jesus spoke,
| Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we
should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know
us, because it did not know Him. |
|
(1 John 3:1) |
You have a wonderful inheritance as a child of God. You can receive that
inheritance the moment you are born again. God Almighty will give the greatest
glorious power in all of existence His Holy Spirit to all who ask. That is why
the Lord Jesus Christ tells his disciples to go into all the world and proclaim
the gospel, telling the world about His divine love, redemption, and healing our
sicknesses and infirmities. He said whatever you ask in His name He will do it!
| And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. |
|
(John 14:13-14) |
| . . . giving thanks to the Father
who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the
light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the
kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins. |
|
(Colossians 1:12-14) |
| And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring
glad tidings of good things!" |
|
(Romans 10:15) |
| You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He
who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. |
|
