Your Prayer Brings Help When You Need It
| Let us therefore come boldly to
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help
in time of need. |
|
Hebrews 4:16
|
The Lord Jesus Christ is always watching and listening for your prayers
when you are in trouble or need (Hebrews 8:1).
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have
such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the
majesty in the heavens.
Many times we find ourselves in a
desperate situation with no way out and we forget that Jesus Christ is
waiting upon you to call out to Him. Prayer is always the key to releasing
the power of God into your life. God will never interfere in your life
unless you ask Him to.
Prayer is the only way into the throne room of heaven and
into God’s ear. "And in that day you
will ask Me nothing. most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the
Father in my name He will give you" (John 16:23). Most people try in
their own strength and intellect to overcome life’s obstacles and problems. When they fail they blame God.
All the time Jesus was waiting on you to call out to Him.
"Call upon
Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me"
(Psalms 50:15).
A person that prays and spends time with God is one who humbles himself and
relies on God Almighty for their strength and victories. When you walk with
God in your everyday life you build a relationship that naturally relies and
trusts in Him for all your needs. He is a God of love who wants to watch
over you with His abundant love and mercy. He wants you to fellowship in
prayer and to love Him with all your heart!
| And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the
first commandment. |
|
(Mark 12:30) |
| Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who
died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God,
who also makes intercession for us. |
|
(Romans 8:34) |
| But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do
not do the things which I say? |
|
(Luke 6:46) |
As for me, I will call upon God,
And the
LORD shall save me. |
|
(Psalms 55:16) |
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to
forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you. |
|
(Psalms 86:5) |
In the day of my trouble I will call upon
You,
For You will answer me. |
|
(Psalms 6:7) |
God is our refuge and strength,
A very
present help in trouble. |
|
(Psalms 46:1) |
